Martin Penev

Born 1985. Lives and works in Sofia.

EDUCATION

2012 – MA, Digital Arts from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia.

2009 – MA, Theology from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

WORK

He has interests in object, installation, interactive design, media arts and performance.
Since 2010 he has participated in group and solo projects in a number of festivals and events in Bulgaria and abroad.

AWARD

2018 – Winner of BAZA Award for young artist in contemporary art, and in 2019 he was an artist in residence in Residency Unlimited, New York.
